Spiritual Care

Spiritual Care at Holy Family Hospital

The Spiritual Care Department at Holy Family Hospital is dedicated to serving the needs of patients, families, and staff.  We are committed to offering compassionate care and support for the whole person, including spiritual, emotional, relational and psychosocial care, as resources for healing.

When you or a loved one are in the hospital, you may be feeling any number of emotions. At Holy Family Hospital, you can request a chaplain visit to share or help you sort out these feelings. Chaplains provide compassionate and non-judgmental listening and wisdom to help you find your own answers.

Chaplains do not force discussions about religion. Times of difficulty and crisis often make people wonder about deep questions of meaning and purpose. A chaplain can help you explore your spiritual doubts and longings. Whether or not you have a specific faith affiliation, chaplains can provide support and help you connect to your sources of hope and meaning. We value each person’s spiritual journey and the diverse faiths and traditions of each person in our community.
